ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)-- The U. S. Coast Guard and the river industry are devising a plan to pull eleven barges from the Mississippi River.

Bommarito automotive Sky FOX was over the scene Sunday when the swollen waters forced 114 barges to break free.

Some slammed into the Jefferson Barracks Bridge shutting it down for awhile.

At this point there's no word on how long it will take to raise the barges or what method will be used to retrieve them.
