(KTVI) – Comedian Craig Ferguson hosts the Late Late Show on CBS. He usually opens up the show with the same line, “It’s a great day for America.”

April 15th was not a great day for the nation. So, Ferguson knew he could not open the show with his catchphrase. He said, “He is sick of this @#!@. It’s a great day for America’ because of some random act of madness or terrorism.”

He goes on to say that the show may not be all that funny because of the seriousness of that day’s events. But, “I’m not good enough a comedian to hide that form you. So, we’ll have our guests out tonight and I’ll ask them about their lives, but I don’t know how it’s going to be.”
