The Way It Oughta Be: Voting

(KPLR) – Election day turnout probably depends on where you live.

I must live in a petty boring part of St. Louis because to the best of my knowledge none of the candidates on my ballot have been impeached or arrested.

Maybe that's why I was the only one voting at 8:30 this morning.  I'm guessing turnout was a little heavier in Ellisville where we've all heard enough about their mayor's battle with his council.

In some strange way I'm a little jealous.  I mean voters in Ellisville have some serious choices to make.

I guess we all do.

It’s just a shame that it takes a three ring circus to attract a crowd on election day.

We should all research the candidates and issues before heading to the polls, even if the candidates aren't in the middle of a heated controversy.

I'm JB and that's The Way It Oughta Be.
