Bigger Bang: Texas Bridge Blown Up

MARBLE FALLS, TX (KTVI) – Construction surrounding downtown St. Louis and Illinois’ roadways have slowed traffic for months. One Texas town prepared themselves for the new development of their own roadways in legendary fashion Sunday.

The Weatherford Street bridge was blown up to make room for a new and safer bridge according to WFAA. Texas officials expect the new bridge to be completed by 2014.
