KANSAS CITY, MO (WDAF) – Medical bills are mounting, but donations are coming in to help a German Shepherd who was found injured, apparently thrown from an overpass in Kansas City. So far, $5,000 has been raised to pay for the treatment “Lindey” has undergone and will have in the future. Those costs are expected to be at least $10,000.

The surgery she needs is complicated, and in the meantime, she wears splints on her damaged front legs. The veterinarian treating her said there are signs she suffered from mistreatment.

Now another donor has used $1,000 to start a reward fund to find the person or people responsible for inuring Lindey.
