Person Struck, Killed By Amtrak Train

PACIFIC, MO (KTVI)-- A pedestrian was struck and killed by an Amtrak train Wednesday night in Pacific, Missouri.

An Amtrak spokesperson says the "Missouri River Runner' train from Kansas City to St. Louis hit a person on the tracks just before 9:00 a.m. at North Olive Street and East St. Louis Street in Pacific.

According to Amtrak, 58 passengers were aboard the train.  No crew or passengers were injured.
