(KPLR) – In Tuesday's Jacology, Charles Jaco gets fired up over leaving an electronic paper trail when you buy a gun.

I'm not sure if the rest of America is as sick of whining gun owners as I am. And I’m a gun owner. The latest in the paranoid world of gun owners who think they're above the law comes from down in Stoddard County, Mo.  The state department of revenue wanted to scan and electronically store the information a Stoddard County man used to get a concealed carry permit, his birth certificate and so forth. He sued. A judge agrees with the gun owner.

This is another example of some gun owners and some groups like the NRA, ignoring common sense. If you buy a car or if you sell a car, the state department of revenue gets a copy of the license, title, etc. But even providing rudimentary documents like that is apparently too much for second amendment advocates.

These are the same people who oppose almost any restrictions on guns. For example, laws that make adult gun owners responsible and criminally liable if a child gets a gun and hurts someone. Or laws requiring serious liability insurance if you own a gun. Or laws making sure anyone using a firearm to commit a crime, does hard, mandatory jail time.

Instead; we get a steady diet of nonsense from adults who should know better, claims that sensible gun regulations are a cover for seizing everyone's firearms. They keep talking about everyone’s second amendment rights. They ignore the part about, responsibilities.

I'm Charles Jaco and that's Jacology.
