EDWARDSVILLE, IL (KTVI) – Sentencing is Friday for a man convicted of sexually assaulting two toddlers.  Michael S. Burgund was charged with five counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault in December 2012.

Authorities say in 2011, Burgund admitted to sexually assaulting two female family members ages 2 and 3 years old. He later denied the admittance during his trial but was convicted.

Sentencing is set for 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Criminal Justice Center in Edwardsville.  Burgund could get life in prison.
