Monster Goldfish Found In Lake Tahoe

(KTVI) – Goldfish are most commonly associated with being small pets generally kept in small bodies of water by children. Researches have recently found a gigantic goldfish in Lake Tahoe waters that does not fit this description.

The ‘monster’ amongst its peers, is about 18 inches long and weighs 4.2 pounds according the Scientific American. It has not been confirmed on where the giant fish came from, but researchers have come found about 15 others just like it in the lake.

The school of large fish have arrived just in time for Lent, but its not likely you’ll be seeing this carp on your menus anytime soon.
