ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR)-- AAA crews are busy again Friday helping the folks they couldn't get to yesterday.

One call was for a car that ended up on the front yard. It was just one of the 500 or so calls for help that came into the AAA service center.

Images of stranded vehicles clearly reflect challenges faced by motorists who tried to drive on Thursday storm.

Cars and even tractor trailers couldn't push through.

Hundreds of motorists called AAA for help.

When this car ended up on the lawn, the driver called AAA. But the motor club couldn't help everyone on Thursday due to call volume and road conditions. Non emergency tows, flat tires or wrenching had to wait until Friday.

Phil Linck says motorists will need to continue to use caution Friday night and Saturday morning. He says refreezing could present new challenges for drivers Friday night and Saturday.
