JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO (KPLR)-- Gun owners have already given their reaction to the President Barack Obama's plans, crowding gun shops and buying weapons and ammunition in large quantities.

A Jefferson County shop sold a quarter of a million dollars in merchandise over the past three weeks.

They favor more efforts to keep guns out of the hands of those with mental health difficulties while opposing efforts to stop the production of semi-automatic rifles.
