Nixon Ready to be Sworn In For Second Term

(KTVI) – Jefferson City will be hopping Monday. It’s Inauguration Day in Missouri. Governor Jay Nixon will be sworn in for a second term.

The Governor and First Lady start their day with a worship service at 8:30 a.m. this morning.  The inaugural parade is at 10 a.m. The swearing in ceremonies start at 11:15 a.m.

In the afternoon, there’s public meet and greet at the governor’s mansion, a barbecue reception at a Jefferson City hotel and the inaugural ball in the Capitol Rotunda.
