(KPLR) – The Las Vegas Consumer Electronics show is winding down, but JB lamenting not having one of the new TV’s coming soon to the market.

The last television I bought was probably from 10 years ago.  I would love a new flat screen as big as this billboard but I just can't afford it.

The annual consumer electronics show in Las Vegas is a depressing event for me.

Just look at all the cool stuff consumer groups are showing off.

They even have a mind controlled helicopter.

How about a giant spider robot you can take for a ride.

New gaming consoles and pc's that look more like tablets are all on display.

Even though it's depressing to realize I can't afford any of this cool stuff, it's uplifting to know creative minds are coming up with some amazing new technology.

So instead of dreaming about owning these devices ... Maybe we should encourage our kids to dream about how to make these devices.

Unless they study the math and science behind modern technology, they probably won't have a job that pays enough to buy any of those devices.

I'm JB and That's The Way It Oughta Be.
