(CNN) – Demand from consumers is driving up the popularity of tablet devices.
In 2013, sales of the devices are expected to outpace notebooks by more than 30 million units.
That’s according to analysts at Display Search, a tech analysis firm.
Researchers say the fast expansion of different screen sizes has given more brands access to the market.
This, in turn, has created more demand for tablets.
Analysts say Apple leads the tablet market with the iPad, but they expect smaller tablets to dominate sales this year.
