St. Louis Ranked In America’s Least Healthy Cities For Women

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Women’s Health Magazine has put St. Louis near the bottom of the list for their annual Healthiest cities list. The magazine’s research team used 38 terms to measure health.

They used such as access to medical care, cancer rates, obesity rates and longevity to determine rankings.  The team also looked at lifestyle factors and survey responses from places like the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the U.S. Census and the American Cancer Society.

Once they established an overall health score, each city was ranked. We then rank the top 10 and least healthy bottom 10 for a total of 100 cities.

Here ar the bottom 10 cities:

91 – Detroit, MI
92 – St. Louis, MO
93 – Tulsa, OK
94 – Jackson, MS
95 – Indianapolis, IN
96 – Cleveland, OH
97 – Memphis, TN
98 – Toledo, OH
99 – Philadelphia, PA
100 – Birmingham, AL (unhealthiest city)
