Waterloo Man Charged With Beating Ex With Cell Phone

WATERLOO, IL (KTVI) – A Waterloo, Illinois man faces charges for beating his ex-girlfriend with a cell phone. Matthew Fauke, 24, is charged with Aggravated Domestic Battery and Reckless Discharge of a Firearm.

He jailed on $100,000 bond. The Belleville News-Democrat reports a 21-year-old woman called police on Sunday claiming Fauke got angry during a conversation and beat her in the face with a cell phone and his fists for an hour.

She was taken to the hospital with bite marks and other numerous injuries.
