Winter Storm Leaves Several Hundred Without Power

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – Hundreds of residents in St. Louis County and areas west of St. Louis are without power following a winter storm front that moved through the area early Thursday afternoon. 

Ameren Missouri said high winds caused more than 49,000 customers to lose power. As of 6 p.m. power has been restored to approximately 28,000 customers.

There were about 2,000 without power in Illinois Thursday afternoon.
