Police Chief Isom Involved In Traffic Accident

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The out-going St. Louis City police chief was in a car accident Wednesday morning but was not hurt.   According to a tweet from the Police Department’s Twitter account, Chief Dan Isom’s accident happened at Macklind and Oakland.

The tweet does not give any details about the accident but only says that neither Chief Isom nor anyone involved required medical treatment.

Chief Isom announced that he is retiring from the police department at the end of the year and is joining the criminology department at University of Missouri- St. Louis.
