WISCONSIN (KPLR) - A deer found itself in trouble on thin ice in southeast Wisconsin.  A day long struggle, sliding and slipping; this seven point buck falls countless times after it finds itself stranded in the middle of a lake. A team of firefighters made several attempts to rescue the animal, but thin ice halted the rescue.  Then one more try with a rescue sled and hundreds of yards of rope, it took 40 minutes to move the animal to land and the deer is finally free.
