JENNINGS, MO. (KPLR) – For the 18th year, the St. Louis Rams teamed up with Schnucks Markets and the Urban League of St. Louis to provide food to two thousand needy families.

Twenty-three Rams players helped hand out turkeys and all the fixings at Urban League locations in East St. Louis, Jennings and St. Louis.  They also made home deliveries in Jennings.

This year Rams players contributed $34,500 to buy the Thanksgiving items for the program.

The goal of the Urban League is to improve the social and economic conditions and opportunities for African Americans and other minority groups in the St. Louis metropolitan area.
