(KPLR) – The “Show Me State” is showing off millions in unclaimed gift cards.  State Treasurer Clint Zweifel says his officer has $6.2 million in unclaimed property made up of unused gift cards and certificates.

Missouri state law requires businesses, public agencies, insurance companies and financial institutions to turn over unused cards. There is currently 700 million dollars in unclaimed property being held by the state treasury, including early 60 accounts with more than $100,000.   Visit Show Me Money.com to see if you have any unclaimed property.
