ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - The spring-like weather has folks scrambling to get things done before the temperatures get a lot cooler late Sunday.

When you see people out walking, boating or just having a great time it`s hard to believe there's a dramatic change in the weather on the way.

Rain and cold weather is just around the corner. That means MODOT crews will be working fast to get the I-64 project complete. East bound lanes will all be closed this weekend. If the rain does move in expect a total closure after the monday evening rush until tuesday morning also East bound.

Another reminder from MODOT concerning the Blanchette bridge. Friday night is a big night for people heading to St. Charles.  Use Page or 370 and you`ll save yourself a lot of trouble.
