Franklin County To Use iPads On Election Day

(KPLR)-- Franklin County is the first in the area to replace its precinct voter list books with iPads.

The tablet computer should speed up identification of voters and help election judges be sure they’re in the correct polling place.

Franklin County clerk Debbie Door tested the system in several precincts during elections earlier this year.

Names can be looked up alphabetically or by using bar codes on an election notice card or your driver's license.
