 St. Louis, MO (KPLR)  Teachers in the Southwest Missouri town of Nixa say its time to top teaching “cursive” handwriting in school Teachers in the district say technology has made the practice obsolete. Communication is through typing and text these days, not long-hand. Some students still want to learn. Since that’s how you sign your name. The school district has not yet made a final decision.
