St. Louis, MO (KPLR) Texting at church may get you in trouble at most churches, but one pastor in Arizona encourages texting, tweeting and using your cell phone during its services. The pastor in Anthem, Arizona points to a bible verse that reads, “he said to them, ‘go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” The pastor says his church takes that verse literally and thinks modern technology helps members do that. He admits some people might find it disrespectful, but he says new technology is the best way to communicate the church’s message.
