Arnold Native Named Chief Of The National Guard

(KPLR) – Arnold native, General Frank Grass, a longtime Missouri National Guard citizen soldier was named the 27th Chief of the National Guard in at Pentagon Thursday.

Grass enlisted in the Missouri National Guard in 1969, went to officer candidate school and was commissioned in 1981.

He has served in a variety of command and staff positions.

As chief, he will serves as a military advisor to the President, the Secretary Of Defense and the National Security Council.
