St. Louis Man Being Held For Triple Shooting

BERKELEY, MO. (KTVI) – Police have charged Randy Rashad Thomas of North St. Louis, for a triple shooting in Berkeley, Mo. from Sunday, October 7th.  A Berkeley police officer heard gunshots Sunday, around 4:15 pm, and gave chase to a car traveling at a high rate of speed on Airport road.  

Officer stopped the vehicle at Dade and Carson in Ferguson, Mo., where upon they discovered four individuals, with three suffering from gunshot wounds.  All three were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their wounds.  One person was listed in critical condition, but the injuries were of non life threatening nature.

Upon searching the vehicle, two hand guns were taken into evidence.

Thomas has been charged with the following felonies:

Four (4) counts of assault 1st degree (f)
Four (4) counts of armed criminal action (f)
Unlawful use of a weapon: shooting into a motor vehicle (f)
Unlawful possession of a firearm (f)

His bond has been set at $200,000.  He’s currently being held at the St. Louis County Justice Center in Clayton, Missouri.
