BRENTWOOD, MO (KTVI) - Thousands of people are camping out around Apple stores around the world to get their hands on the latest version of the iPhone when it goes on sale Friday. St. Louis is no exception. People were already in line at 4:00 a.m. at the AT&T store in Brentwood.

The new iPhone 5 is thinner, lighter, has a taller screen, faster processor and updated software.  Apple received two million orders for the phone in the first 24 hours it took pre-orders. That's more than twice the number for the iPhone 4s when that phone launched a year ago.

Analysts estimate Apple will ship as many as 10 million iPhone 5s by the end of the month.
