FENTON, MO (KTVI) - You can get a flu shot and a free doughnut Friday morning in Fenton, Missouri.  The Visiting Nurse Association offered their Drive-Thru Flu Clinic at the Krispy Kreme on Bowles Thursday morning.  Patients could get protection from this year's flu without leaving their car.

Nurses set up a tent near the drive-thru window, asked patients a couple of questions and gave the shot - along with a free glazed doughnut.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends everyone 6 months and older get a flu shot, unless they have certain allergies.  VNA nurses are only giving shots to patients 18 and older at the Drive-Thru Clinics.
