DESOTO, MO (KPLR) - The family of the three girls killed in an apparent murder-suicide held a fundraiser to help pay for funeral costs Tuesday.

The fundraiser was at the American Legion in Imperial.

The girls were shot to death by their mother, Lisa Cochran, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff.

Daniel Ehlen is the uncle of the youngest victim, 22-month-old Faith Ehlen.  “I just wish they could have got away or she could have got help,” Ehlen said.

Donations can also be left at the Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold.
