Pine Lawn Police Chase Ends In Metro East, One Arrest

(KPLR) - Several shots were fired between people in two cars in Pine Lawn overnight. All that was followed by a police pursuit.   It all began around 8:00 p.m. in Pine Lawn and ended in East St. Louis.

Police say they got a 9-1-1 call saying people in two cars on Slyvan were firing shots at each other. A patrolman saw one of the cars leave the area and he pursued. The chase went down Interstate 70 and into East St. Louis where the stolen car was dumped.

Police arrested one man, apparently the driver of the car. He had a towel wrapped around his neck. Pine Lawn police had a lot of help from other agencies.

At last report are looking for two other suspects.
