(KPLR) - New e-mails paint a shocking portrait of Michael Jackson just months before his death.  The LA Times says it has obtained e-mails written by a concerned promoter with AEG, which was financing Jackson’s huge "This Is It" comeback tour.

One promoter called Jackson quote, "drunk and despondent" and "an emotionally paralyzed mess riddled with self loathing and doubt."

The emails are expected to play a role in two lawsuits involving AEG.
