ST. LOUIS, MO. (KPLR) – Two women were assaulted at two St. Louis universities over night Wednesday.  Police say a woman says a man tried to rape her near St. Louis University campus Tuesday night.  While at Washington University, a 23-year-old student says she was abducted from a university parking garage and forced her to drive to several ATM’s to withdraw cash from her account.

The woman says the man claimed to have a knife and order her to drive around for more than an hour.

The university issued an alert Wednesday morning describing the incident and suspect.

The university is now increasing police patrols on campus and may get some help from St. Louis County Police.
