(KPLR) - We haven't seen it in a while, so you might not remember what to do when it rains.  Here's JB with The Way It Oughta Be.

We're being warned now that the remnants of Hurricane Isaac are headed our way.  We're lucky that all it's going to be is rain.

But if we've learned anything over the years it's that there are parts of St. Louis where a bunch or rain causes a bunch of problems.

I covered some flash flooding that did thousands of dollars worth of damage all because someone threw so much trash into a creek that the water wasn't able to travel through a storm drain.

I know this is hard to believe but someone even dumped an old camper into that creek.

MSD is already out clearing storm drains in anticipation of troubles so if you want to keep the damage in your neighborhood to a minimum, don't clog up the sewers with trash or tree limbs.

We will have enough rain to cause problems all on its own.

I'm JB and that's The Way It Oughta Be.
