ST. LOUIS, MO. (KPLR) - MSD officials are preparing for tropical storm Isaac. “We are getting our staff together and preparing for the worst,” MSD Spokesman Lance LeComb said.

On Monday the storm’s projected path went right through the St. Louis area.
Four years after Hurricane Ike devastated University City, residents are still recovering.

“We are praying this does not hit us,’ Marie Garret said.

MSD official said sewers, rivers and creeks are likely to cause flooding if a “massive amount of rain” is dumped on the area.
