Bernthal – Don’t Blame The Salesman

ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) - I brought my chair outside this home because it sure looks like it could use some repairs.

I thought I could give the owner some advice based on my own experience. I have experienced a few hiccups along the way. Nothing major but I've had a few projects where what was promised either didn't happen or it didn't look right.

Here's my question.  Why is it the guy who comes out to tell me how much a project will cost is never the guy who comes out to do the work.

And when the guy comes out to do the work, why does he always blame the salesman who said, oh sure, everything will be fine.

I think I'm instituting a new policy around my home.

If you're not the guy who is going to do the work, then don't bother pretending that you know how much it should cost.

I'm JB and that's the way it oughta be.
