Dozens Of Animals Rescued From Animal Hoarder In West Plains

SUNSET HILLS, MO. (KPLR) - Donkeys, chinchillas, roosters, goats, horses and dogs are some of the animals taken from a suspected animal hoarder.  The animals are headed for sunset hills, were the animals will be distributed to various animal rescue organizations for care.

The animals were seized during the raid at the home in west plains, Missouri Thursday morning.

Officials with Wonder Weimes Rescue say goats, horses, donkeys, skunks, chinchillas, and 50 cats and dogs were found at the home. Were told living conditions were horrible.

The animals will go to animal rescues to be vaccinated, cleaned and to receive any other care they need.

At this point the homeowner has not been arrested or charged, but could face animal cruelty charges.
