$5,000 Reward Offered To Help Find Missing 12 Year Old

PACIFIC, MO (KPLR) - The search for a missing 12 year old Affton boy is set to resume around sunrise Tuesday morning.  Police suspended the search around nine o’clock Monday night.  12 year old Christopher Marks disappeared while swimming in the Pacific Palisades Conservation area Sunday night.

Police on foot, in the air and on the water looked for the boy. Lt. James Mundel with the St. Louis Co. Police said, “Obviously is what still needs to be done is we need to find the young man the shores have been checked very thoroughly the grounds around on both sides of the river have been checked very thoroughly were going to back track were going to side track and double check everything we’ve done.”
Christopher’s parents still have hope in their hearts their son will be found.

Todd Marks said, “This is smart kid, it’s so unlike him to be gone like this.”  Christopher’s mother, Elizabeth Combs added, “I didn’t know how much our community loved my son until I had plethora of people show up here today.
