EAST ST. LOUIS, IL (KPLR) – Three vacant homes went up in flames in East St. Louis early Friday morning.  The homes were in the 1700 block of Henrietta. Authorities believe the original fire started in the middle home and spread to the adjacent homes.

It took crews over two hours to get the fire under control.  Originally, firefighters thought a woman was inside, but the woman was later found safe outside the home.
