ST. LOUIS, MO (KPLR) – The number of children being diagnosed with autism is growing at an alarming rate across the country, and Missouri is no exception. The President and Chief Operating Officer of Life Skills, Ron Ekstrand says more boys are being diagnosed than girls. There’s no cure or cause for autism, but there is treatment. Life Skills and TouchPoint Autism Services have merged in an effort to provide more services to those in need.
