NORWAY (CNN) – Snoop Dogg has been busted for alleged drug possession for the second time this year.

A police spokeswoman says the rapper was detained for carrying eight grams of marijuana while going through a customs checkpoint at a Norwegian airport.  He was slapped with a two-thousand dollar fine.

He was also fined for carrying more cash than allowed without it being declared.   Police consider the case closed.

Earlier this year, the rapper was charged with pot possession in Texas.  He has a license to use medical marijuana in his home state of California.
