(KPLR) - It might not be brain surgery, but some people still forget to take their electronics out of hot cars in the summer months. Obviously, the dangerously high temperatures can ruin your electronics if left in the scorching temperatures. Scott Schaffer with Blade Technologies gives us a few tips to remember:
-Keep your stuff out of the car
-If hot to the touch, turn off, disconnect power, cool down.
-Don't put into a refrigerator or freezer to hurry the cooling process.
-Keep vents clear, use compressed air or a stiff brush.
-It goes without saying that you should keep electronics out of site regardless: thieves, etc.
