ST. PETERS, MO. (KPLR) - St. Peters police are asking for the public’s help in apprehending the man who robbed Smiths Jewelry store at gun point Monday morning. The man is described as a short, stocky white male between the ages of 40 to 50, with white feathered hair white goatee.  He was last seen driving a white ford explorer.

St. Peters police are asking pawn shops and gold buyers to be on alert for anyone trying to get rid of the merchandise. Thief knew what he wanted, when he entered the store stealing more than $30,000 in diamond rings and Rolex watches.

The owner is offering a $5,000.00 reward for the arrest and conviction.
