St Louisans are in for a new treat this summer with the first ever St Lou Fringe Festival. This acclaimed performing arts festival features independently produced work from a variety of entertainers, including theater, dance, music, circus, burlesque, slam poetry, comedy, improv, performance art and more. Four indoor venues within a walkable area showcase 30 different companies from St Louis and around the country. Over 100 indoor performances and countless street performers, as well as arts-themed workshops and parties, blossom Midtown St Louis into a true pressure-cooker of artistic expression. June 23 & 24th - Pride Fest in Tower Grove Park

PrideFest is an annual celebration of gay, lesbian, and transgender culture. The festival includes a parade with floats and contingents, twenty hours of live entertainment ranging from pop, disco, jazz, rock, country and rap. The two-day celebration will feature non-stop entertainment with live Latino Bands and Folkloric dancers from various countries including Venezuela and Mexico. Saturday, June 23 will feature the Vasquez Family Mariachi Group, Menache Latin Rock Band and St. Louis' own Son Montuno Salsa Band. Sunday, June 24 will feature Desesperados del Norte Mexican Band and Grupo Picante from Kansas City. There will also be a wide variety of foods and beverages from Latin & South America available for purchase such as tamales, tacos and empanadas. Other attractions include folk arts and crafts, Los Niños Kids Corner with piñatas and Dora the Explorer, Exotic Petting Zoo with pony rides, Inflatable Rides and information booths from several cultural organizations to acquaint the public with their programs and services.
