ESL School Board Members Could Get the Boot

EAST ST. LOUIS, IL (KTVI) – This could be the last day on the job for East St. Louis board members. The Illinois State Board of Education votes Thursday on getting rid of the board and replacing them with a state-appointed panel.

The head of the board appeared at a hearing Wednesday in Springfield to plead for their jobs.
