Cardinals Helping Keep Kids Tobacco Free

(KPLR) - The all star high school senior baseball game is coming up and we have Monica Green from Delta Dental of Missouri to talk about this fun event that carries a serious message about tobacco use and kids.  After the cardinal game on Saturday June 16th, .high school players will take to the field for the all star school senior baseball game.

The campaign about a tobacco free world is headed up by Cardinal David Freese.

The all-star lineup includes 34 high school seniors from St. Louis City and County public high schools who will be coached by Cardinals alumni players Scott Cooper and Kerry Robinson, both of whom are serving in this capacity for the second straight year.

So many kids think chewing tobacco is better than smoking cigarettes.

Give kids a smile was started in 2002 by Dr. Jeff Dalin, to date, five million dollars in free dental care has been performed.
