WEBSTER GROVES, MO. (KPLR) - If you were making a summer stew of what to do this weekend in St. Louis, you might start with the strawberry festival in Historic Kimmswick.

People like strawberries strawberry drinks strawberry wine strawberry shortcake and you can get all that and more in Kimmswick this weekend.

That’s right no shortage of shortcake for this 20 year old fest that first began when farmers up and down Highway 67 figured they had an overflow of the red fruit.  But if sweets aren't the Apple of your eye, why not look to Laumeier.  The new outdoor art installation Camp Out, Finding Home in an unstable world opens tomorrow.

The tree tent looks like a bug's sack or a honeycomb, teardrop for a peanut.  Really has a lot of different associations.  We know at Laumeier a lot of the best work we got is work that's using forms in nature to make artwork.
The outdoor exhibition creates awareness about culture community and the many variations of a home.

Still craving creativity?   Then head wind your way over to Webster Groves for the 9th annual Art and Air.
