MARYLAND HEIGHTS, MO. (KPLR)-Many of us are in such a hurry that we 'think' about driving around gates at railroad crossings. Some actually do it. FOX 2’s Charles Jaco spent the day aboard a train getting the perspective of the people who drive America’s trains.

A typical rail crossing has lights and an arm that lowers to block traffic. But most fatalities occur at crossings like this as people simply drive around trying to save a few seconds.
