(KPLR) - Lemya Sidki, owner of Yemanja Brasil, 2900 Missouri Avenue in south St. Louis, and Raul Uribe who is the chef at Yemanja Brazil showed us some delightful dishes from the South American country.  Yemanja will be part of Macy's at West County Center Brasil Kick Off Party this Saturday, May 19.

MACY’S BRASIL KICK-OFF PARTY

May 19th - 11:30am to 3pm – Macy’s West County

Be part of the excitement. Grab your friends and family and head to Macy’s for a day of food, fashion and fun they celebrate Brasil.

11:30am - SAMBA BOM PERFORMANCE -Feel the beat with a colorful and exciting musical /dance performance by Samba Bom.

12noon - YEMANJA BRASIL COOKING DEMONSTRATION- Experience a bit of Brasil by enjoying a cooking demonstration from Yemanja Brasil restaurant on level 3.

1pm - CENTRO DE CAPOEIRA LIVRE COMOVENTO PERFORMANCE – Don’t miss a performance by Centro De Capoeira Livre Como Vento, a high energy performance that combines the movements of African Dance with Martial Arts.

2pm - PERSONAL APPEARANCE BY SEASON1 PROJECT ACCESSORY CONTESTANT, DIEGO ROCHA - Head down to the Impulse department to watch our live runway show commentated by Project Accessory Season One Contestant Diego Rocha. Also, enjoy live music from their DJ while enjoying mini makeovers by cosmetic experts, and get a burst of energy from the coffee bar.
