New Jersey City Bans Texting While Walking

(CNN) - Cell phone users who don't follow a ban that's now in place in a New Jersey town will have to pay up.  Officials in fort lee New Jersey have banned texting while walking.  Texters who are caught breaking the ban will get tickets of up to $85 for each offense.

The ban was implemented after an increase in pedestrian related accidents.
